Thanks to its powerful 36V Lithium-Ion battery (part of STIHL’s AP System), this tool is comparable in performance to its petrol-driven HS 82 hedge trimmer counterpart and offers long-working times, constant power and low vibrations.

With the recommended AP 200 S battery, this tool is optimally balanced and more comfortable to operate. What’s more, this battery provides up to 150 minutes’ runtime on a single charge. However, if you are looking for longer working times, you can opt for the AP 300 S or AP 500 S. (Please note, using these larger batteries will increase the overall weight and balance of the machine.)

With rotating handle, 60cm/24” double-sided cutting blade and 38mm tooth spacing, the HSA 140 R can easily handle hedges of all shapes and sizes – even those with thicker twigs and branches.

Further features include water resistance, low blade speed and an anti-jamming function – helpful if your cutters get stuck on thicker branches. What’s more, the speed of the machine can be adjusted (between 2,800 – 3,200 rpm) to suit whichever hedge you are working on.
