Delivery of Products
Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot be met, you will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date or receive a full refund.
We shall use reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery. Date of delivery shall not be of the essence and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by you or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
Delivery of the products shall be made to your address specified in the order and you shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the products whenever they are tendered for delivery.
Risk in the products shall pass to you upon delivery of the products to you or someone nominated to take delivery on your behalf.
Title in the products shall not pass to you until payment of the price has been made in full.
Placing orders online for in-store collection can normally be collected the same day. We advise that you wait to be contacted by us before appearing in person.
There will be no pre-advising of delivery unless your items are unavailable in which case we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery date or your option to cancel the order.
Any orders received after 3pm shall be carried forward to the following working day.
Order for petrol products will undergo a pre-delivery inspection to ensure that they are in full working order before shipping. This means that it will be a little bit longer before these products are dispatched but we’ve found this saves a lot of time and eliminates potential running issues. We aim to ship these within 2-3 days, stock dependent (excluding weekend and bank holidays).
Delivery Charges
We deliver to the following postcode areas: PH1-PH18, all KY and all DD.
Orders £0.00 to £499.99 — P&P £20.00 by courier standard delivery.
Orders £500.00 to £999.99 — P&P £40.00 by courier standard delivery.
Orders over £1,000 are delivered free of charge.
Our orders shall be delivered by an authorised employee of Meldrums who will provide you with a familiarisation session, usually delivered in 2-3 working days.
All deliveries are sent out Monday to Friday, and couriers used will depend on package size.
