The versatile SHA 56 is STIHL’s first cordless vacuum shredder/leaf blower. Part of the AK System of cordless tools, this practical 2-in-1 machine is perfect for quick and efficient vacuuming of leaves and hedge cuttings as well as for gathering leaves and debris into piles. When using the recommended AK 20 battery, you can expect up to 25 minutes’ runtime.

Switching between vacuum shredder mode and blower mode is straightforward and can be done without the need for tools – just click the tubes into place and rotate the ergonomic handle 180 degrees for greater comfort whilst working. What’s more, the SHA 56 features a variable speed trigger which can be used to control both the suction and blowing force of the machine.

In vacuum shredder mode, the 40 litre collection bag connects to the vacuum tube (rather than over the user’s shoulder) – making user operation more comfortable. Further features include a metal shredder blade (with easy access opening) on the fan wheel which reduces the material volume and makes it easier to clear any blockages that may arise.

In blower mode, the blower tube can be adjusted to suit the user’s height – meaning it is not only more comfortable to operate but also that no performance is lost due to working too far from the ground.

For your further comfort, the SHA 56 comes with a padded adjustable shoulder strap to support the machine during use.
