Powerful yet lightweight, the STIHL KMA 80 R is an energy-efficient cordless kombi engine unit ideal for domestic use.

With powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, you can choose from 2 different speed settings to suit the work you are undertaking. There is ECO mode which is ideal for simple tasks (such as trimming lawn edges); whilst full speed mode is best suited to tasks that need more power (such as clearing leaves). And because it is battery-powered, it runs quietly – which means you can work in your garden without disturbing the neighbours!

It features an adjustable and ergonomic loop handle design which is perfect for working in areas where space is limited: such as when thinning between bushes and shrubs. What’s more, it is compatible with a wide range of KombiTool attachments; and thanks to its quick-release coupling, these attachments can be connected and disconnected quickly and without tools!

You can use any of the AK batteries with the KMA 80 but working times will vary depending on which attachment is being used. The recommended AK 30 battery will give you the longest working times but is also the heaviest of the AK batteries, so you may choose a smaller battery if you are going to be using the tool for long periods.
