Thanks to SmartChoke technology, the STIHL RL 540 engine starts at any temperature and with little effort. The scarifying unit, which can be conveniently set to the required working depth on the handlebar, is equipped with sturdy, sharp fixed blades to assure efficient lawn aeration. Using the control unit on the handlebar, the working depth of the blades can be adjusted in six stages. The scarifying unit can also be lowered or raised to suit lawn conditions.
