The high performance STIHL RL 540 petrol lawn scarifier removes moss and lawn thatch quickly, conveniently and cordlessly, ensuring optimal lawn aeration on even larger lawns. Carrying out effective scarifying twice a year fundamentally improves the supply of nutrients to lawns and promotes strong healthy growth in the long term.
Thanks to SmartChoke technology, the STIHL RL 540 engine starts at any temperature and with little effort. The scarifying unit, which can be conveniently set to the required working depth on the handlebar, is equipped with sturdy, sharp fixed blades to assure efficient lawn aeration. Using the control unit on the handlebar, the working depth of the blades can be adjusted in six stages. The scarifying unit can also be lowered or raised to suit lawn conditions.
With the combined benefits of a 38mm working width and easy-running, special tread wheels, the STIHL RL 540 delivers peak manoeuvrability and agility. The sturdy polymer housing is tough enough to withstand long term use. For easy transport, the scarifier is also equipped with a carrying handle, while the handlebar can be folded in just a few easy steps for compact storage.
