The STIHL MH 585 is an all-purpose petrol tiller suitable for medium-sized areas and large flower beds. With high-powered OHV motor and specially shaped shredder blades, this tiller digs over even hard ground efficiently.
Manoeuvrability is increased thanks to its reverse gear and height-adjustable, pivoting braking spur – making it easier to dig ground over in tight spaces and curves.
Thanks to its detachable hoe set, the working width of the MH 585 can be reduced from its standard width of 85cm down to a minimum of 59cm. What’s more, discs at the side also protect your cultivated plants and objects from damage while working.
Its throttle actuator is attached to the handle – meaning you can precisely control the speed of the engine with just your thumb! And for cleaning, just tip the MH 585 onto its transport wheels to gain access to the blades.
Further features include its anti-vibration system which effectively reduces engine vibrations – thereby providing a more comfortable user experience; as well as its ergonomic, adjustable bar for easy transport and storage.
