The RMA 448 VC is a powerful cordless lawn mower with a large 46cm cutting width and vario speed drive so you can adjust the speed to suit the job you’re doing. The speed is easily adjusted from 0 – 4.5 kilometres per hour using the accessible lever on the handle. You’ll still get the same great, consistent cut whether you are mowing faster or slower too, as the speed of the blade is independent from the mower’s speed. Switch to eco mode and the mower will adapt the speed of the blade to the mowing conditions, spinning faster in denser grass, or slower when carrying out a quick trim, making the most of the battery life to help you mow for longer.
In fact, the RMA 448 VC is packed with features to make your life easier, like the spring-loaded cutting height adjustment lever, the fill level indicator so you know exactly when to empty the grass box and the automatic eco mode which maximises the battery life. The sturdy mono-comfort handlebar is simple to adjust to suit your height and means you can easily access the grass catcher box. It can also be folded over for compact storage in one easy movement.
The vario speed drive means that the speed of the mower can be easily adjusted to suit the job in hand. Simply increase the speed when mowing large, flat areas or decrease it when mowing smaller areas or around obstacles to make mowing effortless. The flow optimised blade trims the grass with minimal resistance, only swirling the air as much as absolutely necessary. As a result it consumes minimal battery capacity, ensuring that the stored energy is sufficient for the largest possible area.
The innovative grass catcher box features a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures its optimum filling. Special vanes in the box channel the air towards the ground, and so protect the user and lawn mower alike from dust and dirt that has been thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying.
Extremely lightweight polymer housing combines high resistance and robustness against forces, heat and UV radiation. Robust and hard-wearing, smooth running wheels incorporating a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing. Two carrying handles integrated into the housing ensure easy transport, loading, returning the mower to the upright position and securing the lawnmower with a strap during transport.
